Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the full time seasonal position of Retail Supervisor, at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Director of Retail, BC Division, the ideal candidate will demonstrate management and leadership experience within a resort ski/snowboard retail environment, with excellent written and oral communication skills and through knowledge of all aspects of daily retail operations. S/he will have at least 4+ years of supervisory experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work for the largest private owner/operator of ski resorts in North America, proudly operating The Rockies Biggest, Canadas Best Lake Louise, as well as Kimberley Alpine Resort and Nakiska. Some of the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Duties:
· Daily supervision of staff including training, motivating and scheduling
· Manage retail inventories and inventory systems.
· Ensure proper accounting and cash procedures are followed.
· Maintain general store and merchandizing standards
· Complete required reports on store operations.
· Manage resort uniform inventory.
· Maintain and contribute to the corporate values of RCR
Qualifications:
· 4+ years supervisory experience in ski/snowboard retail industries.
· Experience in financial reporting, cash reconciliation, and budgeting for retail operations
· Experience with a computerized POS system and inventory management systems.
· Experience working in fast paced, for profit, guest service focused environment.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft excel.

You will promote our teamwork values and assist the team with providing genuine hospitality to our guests, time after time.
Major Responsibilities
Reporting to the Restaurant Managers this position is responsible for the efficient operation of all kitchen systems. Duties include:
* Promoting a No Problem Service environment, the mission statement and our values
* To create a FUN working environment with your team mates and respect them as internal guests
* Preparing food items according to Kelseys specifications
* Ensuring a sense of urgency with all tasks
* Promoting a safe, sanitized working environment
* Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
* Opening/ Closing and side duties as per the Kitchen systems
* Other duties as assigned by the management team
* Monitoring and ensuring the highest level of food safety
* Consistently following kitchen systems and principles
Knowledge & Skills
We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated individual with strong communications skills. You are committed to ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management. You are flexible and versatile, and thrive on working in fast-paced environments.
Further you:
* Are passionate about great food and teamwork
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills
* Have a flexible schedule to be able to work early mornings/ afternoons/ late evenings
* Possess a Serve Safe Certification
* WHMIS training
· First Aid Certification
